Do's Don'ts
Cover your nose and mouth with disposable tissue or handkerchief while coughing or sneezing Touching eyes,nose or mouth with unwashed hands
Frequently wash your hands with soap and water or alcohol based hand rubs Spitting in public places
Avoid crowded places Spread False information
Persons suffering from Influenza like illness must be confined to home Disposal of used napkins or tissue paper in open areas.
Stay more than one arm's length distance from persons sick with flu Touching surfaces used by public(railing ,door gates etc)
Take adequate sleep and rest Shaking hand
Drink plenty of water /liquids and eat nutritious foods Close Contact with anyone with cold or flu like symptoms
Person with cough and cold should consult doctor Take medicine without consulting Doctor

Protective Steps From Corona Virus Infection

  • Wash your hand repeatedly with soap & water specially after going to toilet, touching suspected infected surface and after journey in public transport, visit to a crowded place like Mall, cinema hall , marriage function, meeting of any type. If solid soap is used by more than one person, it is better to use liquid soap.
  • Where hand washing facilities are not available, Alcohol based sanitizers may be used.
  • Biometric attendance should be avoided during this critical period.
  • For hand drying after washing , dryer tissue paper followed by dryer is better than towel, if towel is to be shared by more than one person.
  • All the surfaces like table, chairs, sofa etc should be cleaned daily with clean wet cloth.
  • Toilets seats, should be cleaned repeatedly with Phenyl and taps, handles of doors should be cleaned with disinfectant solution daily in the morning.
  • Hand shakes should be avoided and in its place Namaste should be adopted.
  • Mask is required only for:

        (i) Patients or suspected cases of COVID-19

        (ii) Persons taking care of patients either at home or in hospitals

        (iii) Health care workers
