Around 40 students from Gautam Buddha University (GBU) today visited the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) Depot to gain first-hand knowledge about the functioning of the Noida Metro and the technical aspects associated with it.
The students visited the Operational Control Centre (OCC) of the Aqua Line situated at the Greater Noida Depot where they were explained the functioning of OCC and system of monitoring trains alongwith with other technical aspects related to telecom and signaling.
The students were then given a tour of the Depot where the trains are stabled. They were also shown the train’s driving cab alongwith other important features of the train.
This batch of students from GBU consisted of students studying B.Tech and M.Tech in the fields of Electronics, Computer Science and Civil Engineering.
